The DFET provided £85,000 funding, matched by contributions from individual members of the Ancient Society of College Youths, to hang a complete new ring of 12 bells in the church tower of St Michael's Cornhill in the City of London.

The bells were cast by John Taylor & Co, Loughborough, in January/February 2011 and consecrated on 3rd April 2011 by the Bishop of London, Richard Chartris. The tenor bell is 32cwt - 1qr - 6lb (3618lb or 1641kg) in Db (554.5Hz).
